About Us

The Junior Warriors Foundation is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to empowering the children of disabled veterans, military service members, and first responders by providing tuition-free opportunities for them to develop confidence, resilience, and leadership skills.

Children of these heroic families face unique and often overlooked challenges that can significantly impact their emotional well-being, academic success, and long-term development. Many of these families live with the lasting effects of physical injuries, psychological trauma, extended deployments, irregular work schedules, and the ongoing stress associated with serving and protecting our nation and communities. For children, these pressures can manifest as anxiety, social isolation, reduced self-confidence, and limited access to positive extracurricular opportunities.

Youth sports have long been recognized as a powerful tool for fostering resilience, discipline, teamwork, and leadership. However, access to organized ice hockey is often financially out of reach for families already burdened by medical costs, adaptive care needs, or reduced household income resulting from service-connected disabilities. Equipment, ice time, travel, and league fees create significant barriers that prevent many deserving children from participating.

By investing in these children, we are not only honoring the sacrifices of those who serve but also strengthening the next generation through confidence, resilience, and community connection.

Our Mission

The Junior Warriors Foundation provides children of disabled veterans, military service members, and first responders tuition-free opportunities to learn and play the game of ice hockey. It is our goal to remove the financial barriers that limit access to the sport, while working to promote a culture of physical and mental well-being in a safe and supportive environment.

We believe in honoring the sacrifices made by our nation's heroes by supporting their families and strengthening our community. Through mentorship, coaching, and accessible hockey programs, the Junior Warriors Foundation helps young athletes build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills to succeed both on and off the ice.
